THE HERITAGE FUTURES FORUM

READ THE REPORT

THE HERITAGE FUTURES FORUM GATHERED LEADERS FROM ACROSS THE SECTOR - FROM THE BUILT ENVIRONMENT TO THE CREATIVE ECONOMY - TO ADDRESS CONTEXTUAL CHALLENGES AND SHIFT THE NARRATIVE.

In the face of climate change, global crisis and the responsibility of ensuring sustainability, now more than ever we need to shift the conversation on how we are respecting the past by addressing the future.

The Heritage Futures Forum, hosted by the National Trust of Australia (Victoria) in partnership with Business Models Inc, shined a light on the role of ‘heritage’ now and into the future. The ideas explored in the Forum will be further unpacked in the Heritage Futures Lab.

Designed as an immersive learning experience, where participants co-authored their visions for the future, the Forum welcomed new ideas and extracted insights about how we think about and address complex issues.

By embracing our cultural heritage we have the opportunity to co-define the culture we want into the future – creating new futures, for our past. This begins with a conversation, and survives by collaboration and experimentation.

[COMPLEX IDEAS] [COMPELLING INSIGHTS]
